    CREATIVITY at the heart of LEADERSHIP

    Education is the kindling of a flame, not the filling of a vessel? so said Socrates and it is in this statement that the entirety of our work with children is summarized.

    In our materialistic world, many candles remain inert due to lack of ignition. They are the children who come from families in difficult circumstances broken homes, hearts and minds. These children have seen the worst-food has many a times not been enough, love has been scarce, shelter has been under a tarpaulin sheet or a bridge, exploitation something to fear everyday and child labour a way of life. They come in all shapes and sizes. But they all have one thing in common, an Innocent-Inquisitive Mind that asks simple yet powerful question quest of unknown land. Treasures of Innocence intends to enlighten light these candles to bestow warmth and colors upon the society. That they may not live in oblivion in a dark alley, that they may hope, that they may live to their potential and that they may make this nation proud. It is this ever burning hope that drew us together.

    Since then it has been a Voyage of Discovery, where the children are given both scholastic and awareness inputs across different schools, shelter homes and orphanages. The challenge is to bring out the colors and create the rainbow in a white canvas. It is not easy, but it is worthwhile. We know thousands of candles are waiting to be lighted and we will ignite as many as we can.
