DAAN UTSAV 2019

This year at Treasures of Innocence (Registration No. S/2L/26786; SO226786 of 2014-2015) in the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, we engaged ourselves with people through “acts of giving” – money, time, resources and skills to celebrate Daan Utsav also formally termed as the joy of giving week for our children.

For the year 2019, we had weaved a two days programme for our children to commemorate the spirit of our father of the nation on the event of Daan Utsav.

Our goal was to spread token of appreciation to different public service providers and parents of our children to thank them for their never-ending care and services for the world, through the little hands. Children guided by volunteers and mentors were engaged in different crafty affairs like quilling and painting for making thanksgiving cards in our learning center while emphasizing on plastic free and environment friendly culture. The cards and gifts were then handed out individually and with utmost affection.

The programme was then followed by enlightenment sessions and workshops amongst the children by notable speakers; as ToI dreams of a better future for these children, we wanted our children to dream of coming out from their hurdles and work towards fulfilling it.

As our tagline says, “CHALO KHUSIYAN BAATEIN”, we wanted to spread joy for our children, with our children and by our children.
