About the Person:

Rani loves to work for the children. She loves to help children and youth group to get access to quality education and empower them. In 2014 she quit her job from senior management position and focused completely on the development work of children and youth group.

She finds joy and satisfaction through inspiring younger ones in their lives. She started Treasures of Innocence in 2013 to help children find their purpose of life. Her constant endeavour is to empower them to lead life with courage, curiosity, confidence and creativity. A Masters in Economics from Calcutta University and an MBA, she has a rich and diverse experience in Social Innovation, Crowd Sourcing, Open Innovation, Technology Scouting, Data Analytics and Project Management. She has consulted for national and international clients. She has conducted Leadership and Livelihood Training Program with different youth groups. She loves to paint and experiment with different media and colour. Nature photography is her passion.


Duke Pramanick, President

About the Person:

He has 22 years of extensive cross-functional experience in managing sales / distribution / operations across industries – Tyres ( MRF / Apollo ) / Lubricants( bp / Castrol) / Telecom ( Reliance / Sify / MTS / Tulip ).
Have hands on experience in creating Customer Strategies in developed and emerging markets, driving accountability and execution, managing sales forecast & business accuracy, managing ambiguity, instigating motivation in the team, developing new business territories and business, shadowing new hires and mentoring teams have resulted in year on year growth in business and revenue targets across assignments.

His passion to give back to society has brought him to Treasures of Innocence thus enabling him to bring out the best from children who are from various challenging backgrounds. He believes in doing something worth and meaningful for the society as a responsible human being.


Amit Shankar Das Mazumder, Vice President

About the Person:

A government officer in the land and land reforms department since last 22 years has always loved to paint, read and listen to music when free. But he always been passionate about social service and the vulnerable section, the underprivileged have always has occupied a place within him. As expressed by him, it has been a privilege for him that he is a part of ToI which he sincerely feel that it would render him opportunity to release his pent up demand for doing something good just for the safe of doing it.


Sharmistha Seal Dey, Vice President

About the Person:

Enthusiastic and committed teacher with natural ability to appreciate and inspire children. She is dedicated to the cause of promoting education and well-being of the students. Devoted to inculcate model behaviour and mannerisms in the students by self-example. As a trained professional in Leadership Training Service she is presently functioning as the mentor of the program. She is a voracious reader, loves travelling and very much passionate about photography.


Alokparna Mitra

About the Person:

A teacher by profession, Alokparna has done Maters in Economics. With her passion for children and child psychology she did what a person with those interests and skill sets would normally do, she opted for Psychological Counselling. She has got her diploma in stress management from Jadavpur University. As a counsellor she worked with students in different educational institutions and her guidance helps youth groups to become more confident and find direction in lives.


Dilip Kr Bhowani

About the Person:

A person retired from his profession but is passionate about welfare of society and all. He has been involved with social groups and various other organizations working for children. He is passionate about helping people who needs a helping hand in life be it children or adults.


Sima Bhattacharyya

About the Person:

A home maker, she is passionate about social service and taking care of the underprivileged. For Sima education is the key to success in life. She believes that with love, one can do a work or even win something very easily. So, she wants to help the little, underprivileged children with her own hands with love and care. She wants to bring a smile in those little faces herself because she herself is a very jovial person and loves to laugh. She wants to work with everyone and together wants to make the future brighter for those children. Being an optimistic person, she believes that with a little bit of effort and love, any work can be made possible very easily.



Shibani Bhattacharjee

About the Person:

She is a hard worker and still someone with her feet deeply rooted in the ground. She is vibrant, full of energy, loved and adored by all. She loves to work with people around her and she is very popular among her friends for her endeavours. She loves to dance too and work for different needy people of various ages especially children. A busy member of the team, she handles every mantle with care and responsibility.


Aditi Banerjee

About the Person:

A homemaker and has keen interest in social activities. She loves children and works with the underprivileged children of various slums, orphanages, shelter homes and schools. She also helps the hearing impaired children by giving them speech therapy sessions. She is trying to motivate the children from challenging backgrounds to build passion for learning. She believes in doing something worth and meaningful for the society as a responsible human being.

Headed Marketing Division of an organisation that is pioneer in RO and UF system in India.

Currently serves as Regional head of a chemical manufacturing company.

Has involvement in supporting education to under privileged rural girls


Santanu(Sunny) Bhattacharjee

He is a Founder Director of Britti Prosikshan Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata, West Bengal.

Sunny’s 25 years in the industry includes extensive ICT experience in USA & India spanning hands on systems development and solutions implementation to corporate management and then entrepreneurship. During the tenure he has served MNCs (Nortel, MCI) and start ups in various management, executive and consulting capacities.

After 18 years in mainstream industry, Sunny initiated a social enterprise (Technable) with goal to have direct social benefit as primary yield. It is with St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata that the idea of offering employment linked training to underprivileged youth at the base of pyramid (BoP) was first conceived in March 2004. Sunny’s fascination to livelihood thru’ skill is because, when a person gets gainfully engaged in sustained income generating activity a family of average 6 members is benefited in long term. In April 2005, Technable was inducted as implementation partner in the “Centre of Excellence for IT/ITeS Assessment and Training”, a consortium initiated by the Dept. of IT, Govt. of West Bengal and the University of Calcutta for HR development in the state. In 2011, this venture is being scaled-up with funding and ecosystem support from National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Govt. of India. Technable also offers corporate training in communication skills, soft skills and telecom technologies and plans to offer programs in project management and emerging technologies in near future.

Sudipto Sengupta

Has a Masters in Urban Planning from Virginia Tech, Sudipto has extensive experience in development planning and program management for large government. He has provided advisory to Government of India for Poverty Reduction Programme and for Planning Commission to help design the Tsunami Rehabilitation Programme. He has worked in India, Ghana, and Nepal. His initiative of running a challenge fund for promoting innovations has now been mainstreamed by Government of India. He is regularly invited by AMU and BHU to talk to students on the Power of Ideas. He has conducted Leadership Training Program with Corporate Executives both at government and non-government sectors.

Tarak Nath Shaw

He is a Chartered Accountant and a Law Graduate with over 18 years of experience in UN Organizations, International NGOs, Development & Social Sector and Corporates. He has rich experience of Development Project Planning, Implementation, both directly and through partnership with Local NGOs. Adept in conducting due diligence of NGOs and has knowledge and hands on experience of managing grants of International Donor Agencies. Skilled in mapping, conducting due diligence and devising NGO partnership plans, goals, outputs, performance indicators and development of project strategies. Well conversant with the Statutory Laws and Compliance requirements for NPOs regarding  Indian Income Tax Act, Service Tax, Foreign Contribution Regulation Act etc. He has contributed to this sector by capacity building of grass root organizations in area of Grant Management and Reporting.

Shibaji Mukherjee

He is an IT professional with experience of working for very noted MNC’s and large organizations both in India and abroad. He is passionate about social causes and movements and has been actively involved with various social organizations working in this domain. He has been an adviser to many start-ups and has been involved in setting up offshore units for MNC’s. He has got a Masters in Physics from Calcutta University and also a Masters in Physics from Northeastern University, Boston.

Debarati M Saha

She did her Masters in Computer Science from the Indian Statistical Institute. With her extensive experience in the IT sector, she works with a very renowned IT consulting firm for more than 20 years and her domain of focus is financial industry. She is passionate about social welfare initiatives. She has conducted leadership training programs with corporate executives.
